Some of our guest took hot air balloon rides during their visit to the Branson area. The feedback we get is very positive and all have said it was great fun. The rides are very dependent upon the weather and conditions have to be near perfect so potential balloon riders need to be flexible. Early morning on Table Rock Lake at Anchor Inn on the Lake Bed & Breakfast

If you are interested in renting a boat, here are some places that are around us. Some also have slip rentals if you need one for a boat you are bringing into the area.

Please note that while we have a dock at Anchor Inn on the Lake, we are not permitted by Stone County or the Corps of Engineers to allow guests to dock their boats on it. However, swimming and fishing from the dock is ok! We also have a small paddle boat and two kayaks that guests are welcome to use.

Our favorite show in Branson – SIX

One of the Branson shows that gets almost unanimous “thumbs up” from our Bed & Breakfast guests is SIX. Dee and I went again this month for our seventh time! So you get the idea we like it too!

The entertainers are six brothers (of a family of 10 brothers) who perform a wide variety of “musics” (you have to see the show to understand “musics”) without backup band or taped music. They make all the instrumental sounds with their mouths. It may seem a little weird but without question you’ll enjoy their many musical and entertainment talents.

In 2009 they were voted the fan’s choice awards for best show and entertainers of the year which is no small feat in a town that has over 100 live shows. If you’re in Branson for a limited amount of time this show should definitely be on your short list. Here’s a link to the web site for SIX.
