We know that winter weather can be pretty unpredictable and the last thing we want to do is put our guests in an unsafe situation because they are concerned about losing money with a cancellation charge. So our policy during the winter season is that guests can cancel, without cost, if they are concerned about winter driving conditions. So if you make a booking and then later the weather is “iffy” just give us a call and we can cancel, postpone, or reschedule at your option and depending upon availability. That includes refunding of your deposit on our cottages.
Also, if you are already here and you can’t safely leave due to snow or ice, then you can stay and extra day or until you can get home. (Actually some honeymooners took advantage of this policy and got a free extra day. However, they’ve been the only ones in 10 years.) This policy is in effect each year from December 1 through the first day of Spring, March 20.
So go ahead and make your reservation and we’ll take the cancellation risk!
